In Summer of 2011, Blue Banner Media had the incredible opportunity of working on “Captivated”, a timely, significant, and provoking documentary feature film about the dangers of a media-driven society. Writer/Producer/Director Phillip Telfer brings his passion and concern on this subject to the film, along with Co-Director Colin Gunn. It’s covers the relevant issues (from consumption to content, etc…) extensively, and interviews highly-credentialed experts in fields ranging from theology to health, psychology to entertainment; as well as providing a look at what families, individuals and other organizations have been doing to avoid media captivity. The film went on to be a finalist for “Best of Festival” at the SAICFF as well as winning runner-up for “Best Documentary.”
