A group of homeshoolers are turning renown writer Jane Austen’s classic novel “Pride and Prejudice” into a modern-day adaptation. This film version, set in the 21st century with flashback sequences to the world of Austen’s tale, is titled after Austen’s original name for her story of Elizabeth Bennet and Mr. Darcy, “First Impressions”.

Production has been going throughout August and it is expected to start Postproduction sometime in the Fall. However, in the the meantime the group has only two weeks left to raise the rest of the film’s much-needed budget.
